Course Curriculum

The Cell and Molecular Biology Online Course introduces students to the core principles of cell biology and molecular biology, two essential areas of the life sciences.

Cell biology focuses on the structure and function of the cell — the basic unit of life — including its physiological properties, metabolic processes, signalling pathways, life cycle, chemical composition, and interactions with its environment.

Molecular biology explores the molecular basis of biological activity within the cell, including the interactions between DNA, RNA, proteins, and the processes that regulate their synthesis and function.

This course includes 21 video lessons, organised into 7 modules. Each lesson is followed by assignment questions, and there is a final exam at the end of the course.
