This course consists of 4 lessons with audio or videos, and 10 timed assignment questions after each lesson, with a final exam.

The lessons are as follows:

Lesson 1 – The Root of Disease: Inflammation, Immunity, and Recovery

Episode 5 explores the concept that many chronic health problems may share common root factors, including inflammation, immune dysregulation, toxicity, gut imbalance, stress, and poor cellular repair.

Students will examine practitioner perspectives on how inflammatory processes can affect the body after immune stress and how natural strategies may be used to support recovery. Topics include detoxification, enzyme support, immune balance, gut health, and the importance of identifying underlying triggers rather than focusing only on symptoms.

This episode is designed to help students think in terms of patterns, causes, and body systems. It encourages a naturopathic view of disease as a process influenced by terrain, resilience, and the body’s ability to restore balance.

Lesson 2 – Immune Resilience: Natural Strategies for Stronger Defences

This episode focuses on strengthening immune resilience through natural healing principles. Students will explore how nutrition, gut health, sunlight, grounding, herbs, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, and detoxification may influence immune strength.

The lesson presents the immune system as a dynamic network that responds to the body’s internal and external environment. Rather than looking at immunity as a single function, students are encouraged to consider digestive health, inflammation, microbial balance, environmental exposures, and stress as important parts of immune function.

By the end of this episode, students should understand that immune resilience is built through daily habits and long-term support, not simply through short-term interventions.

Lesson 3 – Healing from Within: Gut Health and Whole-Body Wellness

Episode 7 explores the central role of the gut in health, immunity, detoxification, energy, mood, and whole-body wellbeing. Students will learn how digestive function, microbial balance, intestinal integrity, enzymes, parasites, and nutrient absorption may influence chronic health patterns.

This lesson highlights the idea that many symptoms outside the digestive system may still be connected to gut health. Students will hear discussions around the microbiome, prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, digestive enzymes, fulvic and humic acids, and herbal support.

The episode encourages students to view the gut as a foundation of natural medicine and to understand why digestive restoration is often one of the first steps in holistic healing.

Lesson 4 – Community, Health Freedom, and the Future of Humanity

This episode takes a broader look at health, personal responsibility, community resilience, and the importance of protecting human wellbeing in a rapidly changing world.

Students will explore themes of health freedom, informed choice, ethical responsibility, disability rights, community awareness, and the role of individuals in shaping a healthier future. The episode also includes personal testimonies that reflect the emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of serious illness and recovery.

This lesson invites students to consider health not only as an individual matter, but also as a community and societal issue. It encourages reflection on compassion, courage, advocacy, and the importance of supporting vulnerable people.
