Naturopathic Osteopathy

Online Course

Our Naturopathic Osteopathy course is designed for students and practitioners who want to understand the principles of osteopathy within a holistic natural health framework. This course introduces the foundational concepts of osteopathic care, including the relationship between body structure and function, the use of manual techniques, and the role of osteopathic assessment in supporting whole-body health and wellbeing.

Delivered fully online, this course provides a valuable introduction to osteopathic principles so that naturopaths and natural health practitioners can better understand this field and make more informed referral decisions when osteopathic support may benefit their patients.

Course Overview

Osteopathy takes a whole-body, hands-on approach to healthcare, using manual techniques to support circulation, mobility, biomechanics, and structural balance without the use of drugs. Osteopathic care is based on the understanding that the body’s systems are interconnected, and that improving structural function may positively influence overall health and wellbeing.

This course provides an introduction to the basic techniques and principles used by osteopaths, helping students understand how osteopathic manipulative methods are applied in practice. Topics include posture, spinal integrity, low back pain, structural dysfunction, osteopathic diagnosis, and the examination of movement.

The program includes 14 lessons, some of which feature video content, along with 10 assignment questions after each lesson and a timed final exam with 50 questions.
