Course Curriculum

This course explores the endocrine disorders most commonly encountered in naturopathic clinical practice. It is designed to help students apply naturopathic principles to the understanding, assessment, treatment, and prevention of a wide range of endocrine-related conditions.

With a strong clinical focus, the course covers key areas of endocrine function and dysfunction, including blood sugar balance, thyroid health, adrenal function, reproductive hormones, and endocrine drug-herb interactions. It also includes selected clinical studies and a literature review to help connect theory with practice.

This course is based on the hardback textbook Fundamentals of Naturopathic Endocrinology by Michael Friedman, a Professor of Endocrinology and naturopathic physician.
