Course Curriculum

The Naturopathic Diabetic Management Course provides a broad introduction to diabetes from both a conventional and naturopathic perspective. Students are guided through the demographics of diabetes, the different types of the condition, common symptoms, risk factors, medical diagnosis, conventional treatment approaches, and naturopathic management strategies.

The course also explores a range of possible contributing factors, including food triggers, food intolerances, environmental toxins, inflammation, insulin resistance, unhealthy fats, glucose transport, and metabolic dysfunction. In addition, students are introduced to naturopathic approaches such as dietary intervention, nutritional supplementation, herbal support, homeopathy, and natural foods.
