Course Curriculum

The Biochemistry and Lab Course introduces students to the essential biochemical processes that underlie cellular function, metabolism, and life itself. Biochemistry explores the structure, function, and interactions of key biological macromolecules — including proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids — as well as the smaller molecules and ions that drive cellular activity.

This course provides a foundational understanding of core biochemical principles and laboratory-related concepts, helping students build a clearer picture of how cells function in health and disease.
